Is Phoenix School of Law associated with University of Phoenix?
No.  Phoenix School of Law is not associated with the University of Phoenix or the Apollo Group, the parent company of the University of Phoenix.

Is the school accredited?
Yes.  Phoenix School of Law received full approval from the American Bar Association in June 2010 as the final step in its accreditation process. 

Can Phoenix School of Law graduates take the bar exam?
Students that have graduated from Phoenix School of Law have taken bar examinations in Arizona and other states throughout the country.   For details on each state’s criteria for applying to sit for their respective bar examination, such as character and fitness requirements, please see http://www.ncbex.org/.

Does Phoenix School of Law offer an online program or legal degree?
No. Phoenix School of Law does not offer an online program or an online legal degree.  Phoenix School of Law does not offer any online courses.

Does Phoenix School of Law offer a part-time program?
Yes.  Phoenix School of Law is the only Arizona law school offering a full-time program, part-time day program and part-time evening program. All programs have the same entrance criteria.

What is the difference between the full-time and part-time program?
There is virtually no difference in the programs, except for how much time it takes to complete them.  Phoenix School of Law’s full-time program typically takes three years to complete and the part-time program typically takes four years to complete.  The American Bar Association requires that the Juris Doctor degree is nonetheless completed within seven years, but that time frame is not typical.  

If I enroll in the part-time program, are my courses taught by part-time professors?
The core curriculum for part-time day students, part-time evening students, and full-time students is substantially taught by full-time professors.  As with most law schools, many students will have a few classes, usually electives, taught by adjunct professors, who at Phoenix School of Law are established lawyers and judges.
